How we started
We started this adventure in hosting in April of 2020 with just one property in Durham. The property was so popular with guests that were receiving treatment at Duke that we decided to add another on the next block in 2021! In 2025, we added our beach property in Oak Island, NC.
Our mission
We want to provide a dog friendly atmosphere in a comfortable and relaxing environment. All locations were chosen specifically for their neighborhood location and proximity to parks, trails, and other outdoor activities. This provides our guests with the ability to relax and heal in a natural environment as well as in a warm home.
A little about us
We are dog parents to Jax and Tallulah and we love to travel with them to other rentals around the country! Michelle is in Data Analytics for Siemens-Healthineers and Carson is a Service Writer for Christian Brothers Automotive. We enjoy long dog walks, trips to the beach and to the mountains, playing Canasta, Wingspan, Mexican Dominoes and more!
